Supporting a diverse and inclusive classroom requires being purposeful in your instruction. This workshop will demonstrate how to teach economics in K-3 classrooms using popular children’s literature titles that feature diverse characters and storylines. Through lesson demonstrations that utilize active learning strategies, you will learn about human capital, productivity, income, making spending and savings decisions, savings goals, opportunity costs, and more. Join us for a fun-filled, interactive, morning of scholarship.
