Between the American Revolution and the Civil War, the economy of the United States changed dramatically. Join us to explore lesson plans highlighting the role entrepreneurs, technological innovation, and government policy played in the nation's first industrial revolution. Materials will be suitable for middle and high school U.S. history and social studies courses. All attendees will receive a copy of Charles R. Morris's The Dawn of Innovation: The First American Industrial Revolution.
