Join us for a free, one-day online workshop that will delve into the issue of economic stability, looking at it from the conservative, liberal, and radical perspectives. What are their different policy ideas? (Trickle down? Bubble up? Ripple out?) How does each perspective analyze the problem? Join us for a free, one-day workshop focused on solving an issue not covered in the VOTE textbook. Educators will collaborate to begin the process of working through the issue of Immigration. Preliminary work will include the development of shared definitions, goals, definitions, tools, and stories, followed by the development of the conservative, liberal, and radical voices on immigration. The culminating activity will involve questions of pedagogy specific to the challenge of teaching economic issues without bias.
