[Grades 7-12] Personal finance skills are key for today’s youth as they begin developing positive money habits. Attendees will learn about Money Minutes, a series of short exercises based on real-world financial decisions that use math to solve problems. Additional extension questions can lead to classroom discussion and exploration of economic and financial situations faced by individuals and families. Each Money Minute is directly connected to Arizona math standards for the middle school or high school level. This program is offered in partnership with the Arizona Council on Economics Education.
