Saturday, June 12 from 8:30 am - 3:30 pm: The Foundations I workshop covers VOTE’s mission, the fundamental ideas of economics, and philosophical approaches to alternative perspectives. It sets the stage to engage with conservative, liberal, and radical theories. (The VOTE Textbook, Chapters 1, 2, & 3)

Saturday, June 19 from 8:30 am - 3:30 pm: The Foundations II workshop covers the history of economic thought, conventional theory, and radical theory. We’ll dive into their different assumptions, models, conclusions, and policies. By the end, you will have all of the foundational background to dive into the twelve urgent economic issues covered in the VOTE Program. (The VOTE Textbook, Chapters 4, 5, & 6)

Join us for interactive, entertaining workshops. Teachers of all subjects, from middle school through university levels, are invited. No previous knowledge of economics is required, but please plan on attending both workshops.

Earn a total of 12 hours of professional development credit. Registration, materials, and lunch each day (via Grubhub) are free of charge. Pre-registration is required. The VOTE Educator Series is taught by VOTE founder and president Amy S. Cramer, Ph.D.
